Jessica joined Burke & Associates in early 2010 and after four successful years in practice became a Director and part owner of the firm in early 2014. Jessica’s areas of expertise include succession planning, elder law, estate administration and property matters.
Originally from North Queensland, Jessica spent six years in the legal sector while completing her Bachelor of Laws at James Cook University. Jessica relocated to Melbourne in 2009, earned a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice and was admitted to the Victorian Supreme Court as a lawyer in May 2010. More recently, in 2016, Jessica successfully completed the Australian Institute of Company Directors “Company Directors” Course.
Jessica enjoys unique and challenging property law issues and engages in delicate areas of law that are often marred with difficult, emotional issues. Jessica’s timely advice in plain English allows clients to fully understand the issues and make appropriate decisions for the best outcome.
Outside of work Jessica spends her time chasing after her two young daughters and in rare moments of peace and quiet, she can be found at home painting a masterpiece.
